Our Group Experience
A Closer Look
This service is designed to build brain prowess, agility and flow toward better attention and focus, better emotional intelligence, better problem-solving and critical thinking, better social intelligence and empathy, better planning and organization, better self-awareness and self-regulation, better leadership and collaboration. We use the whole body to train the brain. So fun, engaging exercises that target brain enhancement make the group experience something your child looks forward to.
Crafted by pediatric and developmental psychologist, Dr. Krista Swanson, our NeuroCognitive Excellence program affords your children (Child 8-10, Tween 11-13, Teen 14-17) the strategic advantage across six performance areas. Our curricular modules are meticulously designed to elevate your children’s brain potentials for whatever they set their minds to. NeuroSphere Academy is where serious science meets serious fun. Our small group experience (1:5 ratio) affords your children the utmost in personalized attention and peer engagement. Your children will spend 75 minutes face-to-face with one instructor and peers diving into individualized self-understanding of their brain systems and what it takes to independently optimize those brain systems.
Your children’s progress will be monitored with standardized measures week 1, week 7 and week 14 across a number of domains. You will meet virtually with Dr. Swanson at the end of week 7 and week 14 to discuss your children’s progress toward goals as well as flesh out their future NeuroCognitive Excellence plan. All evaluative measures and virtual meetings with Dr. Swanson are included in the Group Experience tuition.
Our Fall 2024 Après School + Après Ski (weekend) group experience provides your children with 16.25 hours of instruction and training over 13 weeks. This group program provides you and your children with tangible markers of progress along key performance indicators of NeuroCognitive Excellence, weekly written parent pointers for supporting your children to apply their gains throughout the week, two 30-minute NeuroCognitive Excellence outcome reports and planning sessions with Dr. Swanson. This amounts to 6.5 hours of support in addition to the 16.5 hours of instruction. Our group program runs the week of September 9th through the week of December 9th, with the week of November 25th off for the holiday (we follow the Aspen School District academic calendar).
This program is designed to stand alone or be layered with our other programs. Repetition is key to building your brain superpowers. Enrollment runs from July 15- September 1, 2024.
